| This is one of my favorite images of an astronaut because I felt just like this so many times on the Moon, even though I didn't have time to stop and "assume the position". I think it takes a certain attitude of cockiness to be an astronaut, and it's hard to show those emotions when I am painting people in suits and their faces can't be seen behind their gold visors. |
